GoodMem

Agent-enablingFreemium

GoodMem gives agent builders persistent memory spaces for storing and semantically retrieving task history, research, and shared context across sessions. It supports scoped service identities and API keys for unattended workloads, plus REST, SDK, framework, and MCP access. The native HTTP MCP surface is early access and retrieval-only; ingestion uses other interfaces.

Overview

About GoodMem

GoodMem stores agent findings, task history, and documents in persistent memory spaces, with semantic retrieval and optional reranking. Authorized workloads can reuse those spaces across sessions or share them with other agents. The same service also supports conventional RAG and document search.

So agents can…

  • Store findings through REST, SDKs, or framework tools and recall relevant context in later sessions.
  • Search permitted memory spaces through the built-in HTTP MCP endpoint at <REST base>/mcp with an API key.
  • Share selected context between workloads while keeping other spaces isolated through service identities, grants, and scoped keys.

The application or agent chooses what to store and when to retrieve it. This listing does not assume automatic conversation-fact extraction, conflict resolution, or forgetting. The public plugin and LlamaIndex integration are separate from the proprietary server core.

Listing decision

Why GoodMem is listed

Agents can retain task history and findings in durable memory spaces, retrieve them in later sessions, and share context with other authorized workloads. The service supplies memory storage and access controls as well as retrieval.

Before you choose

Fit and limitations

Best for

Agent builders who need searchable task history, research findings, or shared knowledge across sessions, with scoped access and a choice of self-hosted or managed deployment.

Known limitations

The built-in MCP endpoint is early access and read-only; ingestion and management use REST, an SDK, or the separate stdio adapter. Humans provision identities and credentials. The server core is proprietary. Free self-hosting still requires infrastructure and model-provider resources; the cloud trial is time-limited.
